What's A Premises or Slip and Fall Case?

If you are injured on another's property, outside or inside, that could be grounds for a personal injury action. Landowners are responsible to use reasonable care to protect others who come upon their premises from hidden defects. Sometimes, a design defect inside a building causes the accident rather than wear and tear but either could cause injuries. Business insurance or home owners insurance generally covers these incidents. Be sure to report the incident so it not denied later as a "blind accident". DO NOT attempt to negotiate a settlement claim yourself or the insurance company will take advantage of you. Hire a contingency fee attorney who is familiar with the damages and recovery amounts for similar injuries as yours. (Call THE MARGOLIS FIRM PC.)
