What's A Social Security Disability Claim?

When an individual can no longer work, due to disabling physical and/or emotional conditions, he or she may apply for federal aid known as Social Security Disability. This Administrative process requires a review of medical treatment rendered, and if denied, disability attorneys may appeal and work for a 25% contingency fee which is only awarded after a successful appeal. Social Security Disability Claims may be brought in addition to a Workers' Compensation Claim, but any WC Settlement Contract would require Set Aside language to prevent duplicate payments.
