What Is Mediation?
Parties in dispute may choose to avoid court and litigation entirely and agree to resolve their differences with the assistance of a trained Mediator, oftentimes former judges. Mediation permits each side to provide their best case informally, without witnesses. Mediation requires each side
to pay for the mediator's time, and may last one half day, full day or several days as needed.
